Position OverviewLocation: Mercy Hospital Southeast, Cape Girardeau, MO
Department: 4H Cardiac Progressive Care
Status: Part-Time (minimum of 8 hours/week or 16 hours/pay period)
Shift: Typically 12 Hour Nights (7:00 PM - 7:30 AM)
Your ResponsibilitiesIn this role, you will:
- Utilize the nursing process to deliver high-quality patient care.
- Coordinate patient care in collaboration with other departments.
- Uphold patient rights and maintain confidentiality.
- Ensure compliance with state nursing licensure requirements.
Qualifications:
- Education: Graduate of an accredited practical nursing program.
- Licensure: Must maintain a current LPN license in the state of practice.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift, push, pull, and/or carry up to 50 lbs regularly; prolonged standing and walking required.
- Experience: Previous experience preferred but not mandatory.
- Certifications: Basic Life Support certification through the American Heart Association or completion within 30 days of hire.
