Trailer Technician

Performs maintenance and repairs on Commercial Trailers per OEM and company policies.

• Diagnose and repair assigned trailers in an accurate and timely manner.
• Verify repair is complete and fixes original customer complaint.
• Notify shop foreman of other potential issues associated with vehicle.
• Punches in and out of job costing program to ensure accurate time billed to customer.
• Mindful of maintaining customer’s trailer cleanliness at all times while working on trailer.
• Works to achieve company efficiency standards.
• Ensures warranty parts are returned to proper department for processing.
• Follows all established OSHA and company safety protocol to include keeping work station neat, clean, and free of debris.

• Verbal and written communication to include simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
• Basic computer use and navigation skills.
• Knowledge of trailer repair techniques.
• Ability to learn company standards, warranty procedures, and vehicle policies.
• Customer Service focused.

• Carpentry and Auto Mechanics Experience.

• Clean MVR Record
• Own tools
