This facility maintains the clinical infrastructure and established protocols necessary to support outpatient and clinic-based gastroenterology locum tenens coverage. The facility is structured to ensure continuity of specialized care for an adult patient population, with a clinical support team that includes APPs, RNs, and MAs. Locum tenens gastroenterology coverage is sought from November 16 through May 16, with a minimum of one week per month.

The area serves as a coastal community hub for local culture, history, and recreation. Clinicians on assignment may explore a downtown area featuring antique shopping, local breweries and distilleries, and waterfront access. Historical attractions such as the Ocean County Historical Society Museum, alongside year-round community events including farmers markets, antique fairs, and boat shows, provide accessible options for time away from clinical responsibilities.

This opportunity offers a Monday through Friday schedule from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. with no call requirements. The schedule includes three clinic days per week, averaging 24 patients per day, along with two procedural days per week with anesthesia support and approximately 14-16 procedures per day. Required procedures include general GI cases such as colonoscopies, sigmoidoscopies, upper endoscopies, duodenoscopes, gastroscopies, and barium swallows.

ERCP experience is required, while EUS is not required.
