Pediatric Physician Assistant/Nurse Practitioner (FT & Per Diem Available)

Jackson, New Jersey

A leading beloved local Children's Health Clinic is currently seeking a Pediatric Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to join their team. Our client's practice is known for its care and concern for the community, and being part of the team will allow you to make a strong difference in the wellbeing and development of local children.

As a Pediatric PA or NP, you will provide quality, compassionate care to pediatric patients in a variety of settings. You will work closely with a team of healthcare professionals to assess, diagnose, and treat patients, as well as educate patients and their families on preventive care and management of chronic conditions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough patient assessments and develop appropriate treatment plans
  • Order and interpret diagnostic tests and procedures
  • Prescribe medications and treatments as needed
  • Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care
  • Educate patients and families on health maintenance and disease prevention
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records
  • Adhere to all company policies and procedures, as well as state and federal regulations
Qualifications
  • Current PA or NP license in NJ
  • Certification in Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)
  • Experience in a pediatric setting
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities
  • Proficiency in electronic medical records (EMR) systems
