• Greet members and guests as they enter and exit the club; assist with questions or concerns during check-in.
• Promote the Judgement Free Zone by connecting with members on the club floor, offering assistance, and supporting their fitness journeys while upholding club policies.
• Resolve member concerns and escalate to a Manager as needed.
• Answer phones in a friendly manner and assist callers with inquiries.
• Perform membership-related tasks such as sign-ups, updating contact/billing information, cancellations, collecting unpaid balances, and transferring memberships.
• Conduct prospective member calls and tours to assess membership needs.
• Execute retail transactions and drive sales goals.
• Maintain regular, thorough cleaning and sanitizing of all exercise equipment and spa amenities, including common areas and assigned spaces.
• Ensure restrooms are clean, stocked, and organized by following the routine cleaning schedule.
• Perform periodic club-wide walks to identify safety or policy issues and address cleanliness concerns.
• Address maintenance and facility concerns (e.g., broken or missing equipment) as needed.

• 6–12 months of experience in a customer service environment is preferred
• Must be 18 years of age or older
• Willing to become CPR/AED Certified (training provided by Planet Fitness)
• Basic computer proficiency

• Hourly pay range: $15.49 to $16.49 per hour. Planet Fitness reserves the right to pay above or below the posted range based on factors not related to protected class.

• Continual standing and moving throughout the club during shift.
• Frequent communication in person or on the phone to exchange information.
• Ability to lift up to 75 pounds.
• Exposure to cleaning agents and routine sanitizing of equipment and facilities.
• Frequent bending, twisting, and movement to accomplish tasks.
