Food Service Driver

Overview

Healthcare Services Group (HCSG) is seeking a Food Service Driver to join our Team!

The Food Service Driver assists the Dietary Aide/Cook in the preparation and service of meals, assists in packing and delivering food from the main kitchen to assigned units, and supports servers in providing a smooth dining experience for residents. The driver also prepares and delivers food and trays, washes dishes, and cleans and sanitizes kitchen areas according to health standards. The role requires a detail‑oriented, well‑groomed, professional individual who is a team player and works well with others.

• Deliver meals to residents using a vehicle
• Serve meals according to dietary needs and portion sizes

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Previous experience in food service or kitchen environment is preferred but not required
• Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team
• Ability to follow time schedules for meal preparation and serving
• Food Safety Manager or Food handler Certification:
  Current Serv Safe or state certification may be required as indicated by state or county law
