About the RoleAs a full-time, on-site laborer at Delta Contracting, you’ll be moving materials, setting up work zones, and helping operators and skilled trades keep the project moving and the site safe.
This position is well-suited for individuals who are good at following instructions, show up ready to work, and are comfortable performing physical tasks throughout the day.
What You’ll Do- Support site preparation, paving, grading, and utility installation
- Shovel, rake, and compact materials by hand
- Set up traffic control zones, cones, and signage
- Operate small tools
- Support equipment operators and skilled crew members
- Keep the job site clean and safe
- Follow crew instructions and safety protocols
- Roadway and highway construction
- Grading and drainage installation
- Paving preparation and support
- Municipal utility projects
You don’t need years of experience to join our team, but we need people who show up, work hard, and take safety seriously. If you’re dependable and ready to learn, we can teach you the rest. This is what you’ll need:
- Willingness to work outdoors in all weather
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform repetitive tasks
