• A high school diploma or GED
• Some post‑high‑school education or certification, preferably in a dental program
• A minimum of 3 years of dental front office experience
• A minimum of 1 year of Dentrix experience

• Have regular and predictable attendance.
• Work individually and cooperatively in a team environment.
• Be highly organized and have excellent attention to detail.
• Provide excellent customer service.
• Be compassionate and professional in conduct and appearance.
• Have integrity, dependability, and adherence to professional codes of conduct.
• Multi‑task, organize work, and consistently meet deadlines.
• Maintain a full schedule of patients daily for multiple dentists.
• Create and maintain schedules with production as the top goal to achieve.
• Answer incoming calls in a professional and timely manner, directing the caller to the appropriate person and taking messages when necessary.
• Greet, check in, and check out patients in a friendly manner.
• Demonstrate in‑depth knowledge of health and safety regulations required for the dental profession (e.g. HIPAA, OSHA, etc.)
• Multitask by monitoring, analyzing, and adjusting daily workflow using necessary programs at all times.
• Assist patients with understanding and accepting their clinical diagnosis.
