The Director of Security provides the security team’s administrative leadership in planning, implementing, coordinating, supervising, and evaluating school safety and security programs for University School of Jackson. Inherent in the position are responsibilities for planning program evaluation, employee education, student, parent and visitor safety, and the overall security of USJ. The director works collaboratively to lead and nurture employees, and to communicate effectively with parents, community members, and colleagues in other schools.

Core duties include managing safety and security budgets, proficient use of computer and security systems, and strong organizational and communication skills. The role is physically demanding, requiring immediate response to potential incidents.

The Infant and Toddler Teacher is responsible for the direct care and supervision of infant and toddler children in the USJ Early Childhood Education Program.
