Job Summary: Tutors work one-on-one and with groups of students to help them learn an academic subject or a specific skill.

Job Duties:

• Effectively communicate with students to help them learn complex subject-matter while maintaining professionalism.
• Be organized, patient, and friendly; approachable with students of all ages, backgrounds, and abilities.
• Conduct tutoring sessions typically scheduled for an hour.

Minimum Qualifications: Successfully completed the course which will be tutored with an A or high

B.

Pay Rate: Starting pay is $10.00. Pay is increased based on experience and level of degree obtained.

Schedule /

Hours:

No more than 29 hours may be worked a week. Hours are scheduled during normal business hours of 8:00-4:30, as well as evenings.
