Position Overview

PRN Recovery Room Technician to support our clinical team in providing outstanding care to patients recovering from same-day surgical procedures. The PRN Recovery Room Technician plays an essential role in maintaining a clean, safe, and well‑organized post‑operative environment. This position supports the nursing team with non‑clinical recovery room duties, helping ensure efficient patient flow and a positive experience for patients and staff alike.

• Assist nursing staff in room turnover and preparing recovery bays between patients.
• Change linens and restock supplies in a timely and organized manner.
• Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of the recovery area and support spaces.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to promote efficient recovery operations.
• Demonstrate reliability, professionalism, and a strong commitment to patient care and safety.
• Support a positive, team‑oriented work environment.

  This is not a clinical role and involves no direct patient care.

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Strong work ethic and demonstrated longevity in previous roles.
• Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting and standing for extended periods.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Prior experience in a healthcare or surgery center setting preferred, but not required.
• Flexible availability to work as needed.
