Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA) Full Time
Ahava Therapy Services provides Physical, Occupational, and Speech Therapy across a variety of care settings. Join our team as a Full-Time OTA in Jackson, TN.
Location: Jackson, TN
Facilities: Maplewood Healthcare & Laurelwood Healthcare
Responsibilities- Assist occupational therapists in implementing individualized treatment plans using a variety of therapeutic techniques.
- Conduct assessments, evaluations, and interventions under the supervision of an occupational therapist.
- Develop and maintain effective relationships with patients, families, and interdisciplinary team members.
- Document patient progress, maintain accurate records, and communicate with the treatment team.
- Participate in staff development and continuing education opportunities to stay current with best practices.
- Support department operations, including treatment preparation, equipment care, and scheduling assistance.
- Adhere to professional, regulatory, and facility standards.
- Maintain expected productivity levels while demonstrating teamwork, communication, and clinical judgment.
- Support the company's mission and vision while projecting a professional image.
- Associate’s degree in Occupational Therapy Assistant Studies or related field
- Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA) credential required
- New graduates are welcome to apply
- Current BLS/CPR certification
