Receptionists

Charter Senior Living of Jackson is seeking a talented Receptionist to join our team! As a Receptionist, you will be the first point of contact for our residents, visitors, and staff, providing exceptional customer service and support to our community. • Provide information and referral to residents, visitors, staff, and prospective clients in a positive, service-oriented manner
• Possess excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Perform basic clerical tasks, including typing, filing, light bookkeeping, and data entry
• Work in a fast-paced environment with multiple interruptions and prioritize tasks effectively
• Demonstrate a pleasant nature and a willingness to work with the elderly
• Collaborate with the Business Office Director to ensure efficient and effective administrative support
• Maintain confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA guidelines
• Participate in Universal Precautions and follow proper infection control procedures
• Working in hiring systems/ onboarding new team members
• Leading orentation for new hires
• Attendance tracking
• Upload residents charts upon move in
• Assisting ED with all HR responsibilaties

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Previous experience in a healthcare or senior living setting is preferred
• Excellent communication, conflict resolution, and interpersonal skills
• Ability to type and use a ten-key adding machine
• Physical demands include sitting for extended periods, lifting up to 20 pounds occasionally, and walking throughout the facility
• Good visual acuity and hearing required
