- This listing is for a 2nd shift Coordinator (2:30 PM - 11:00 PM).
- This is a salary position with OT eligibility.
The Maintenance Coordinator will oversee and support the maintenance department in maintaining equipment, performing preventive and predictive maintenance on all machines and equipment, and working alongside production teams to ensure output and efficiency. This position is for 2nd shift (2:30 PM - 11:00 PM).
What you'll need:
- Oversee and coordinate maintenance teams, machines, and building care.
- Monitor operation of plant equipment and systems.
- Review plant equipment and systems regularly to minimize unplanned downtime, solve problems promptly, and identify improvement opportunities.
- Initiate and carry out projects to improve efficiency and reduce operating costs.
- Champion predictive and preventive maintenance programs.
- Use Proteus MMS for scheduling, analyzing supply chain, and ordering parts.
- Coordinate with maintenance leadership for diagnosis and repair of machines.
- Visually inspect and test machinery and equipment.
- Dismantle equipment to access, replace, or repair components.
- Diagnose and replace faulty mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic components.
- Operate testing devices, welders, drill presses, grinders, oxy-fuel and propane torches, saws.
- Inspect, clean, lubricate, and repair loading dock plates.
- Replace motor bearings and rewire motors.
- Test automated machinery and verify repairs.
- Inspect and repair electrical components, including transformers, wiring, and control systems.
- Communicate task completion and equipment issues to team leaders and supervisors.
- Maintain equipment manuals and history records.
- Maintain current training to perform maintenance effectively.
- Other duties as assigned.
What you'll need:
- Associate degree from a college or technical school preferred.
- 3+ years of related experience or training, or equivalent education and experience.
- Ability to read and interpret safety rules, manuals, and procedures.
- Effective communication skills.
- Proficiency in Office applications such as Word, Excel, and Internet.
- Possession or ability to obtain licenses for powered industrial trucks and lifts.
- Experience with Allen-Bradley PLC programming preferred.
- Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills in a manufacturing environment.
