Wound Care Nurse/Infection Control Position Summary

As a Wound Care Nurse/Infection Control (RN) at Laurelwood Health Care, you'll be an essential part of our residents' care.

Responsibilities include:

• Focuses on the community’s wound care program, working with the wound care physician.

• Oversee resident care related to the prevention and healing of pressure ulcers.

• Provide continuing education of wound care to our staff and families.

• Participate in QAPI and execute wound care assessments.

• Perform any other additional tasks as assigned by the Director of Nursing.

• Maintain confidentiality of protected health information, including verbal, written and electronic communications.

Wound Care Nurse/Infection Control Requirements

• Active RN license for the state of Tennessee

• 3 years nursing experience

• Completed Infection Control training
