We are looking for a self-motivated, organized individual passionate about patient care, excited to independently manage cases with confidence and accountability. As a Peritoneal Dialysis Nurse (PD Nurse), you will educate patients and caregivers on Peritoneal Dialysis, enabling them to dialyze  will oversee ongoing patient care to ensure treatment adherence.

Dialysis experience is NOT required. Nephrology nursing offers a fresh perspective and skill set for newcomers to the field.

What you can expect:

• Provide comprehensive patient care in an independent setting.
• Apply core nursing skills to assess, diagnose, and develop care plans considering the whole patient. Manage your caseload with pride and see how your care impacts lives.
• Empower patients by teaching them to administer their own dialysis and take control of their health.
• Spend time training patients, witnessing their transformation from feeling sick to strong and independent.
• Educate patients on dialysis options, expanding the program’s reach to more beneficiaries.
• Wear many hats:
  Nurse, Coach, Leader.
• Work independently while building strong relationships with patients, support systems, and care partners.

Schedule:

• Typically an 8-hour day, Monday through Friday, with weekends and holidays off.
• Manage your own schedule with flexibility.
• Home visits and on-call shifts vary and are compensated accordingly.

Requirements:

• Current driver’s license, reliable transportation, vehicle insurance in your state.
• Associates Degree in Nursing (A.D.N.) from an accredited school; B.S.N. or a three-year diploma may be substituted.
• Basic computer skills, proficiency in MS Word and Outlook.

Nice-to-haves:

• Experience in Chronic Hemodialysis, Acute Dialysis, Peritoneal Dialysis, or Home Hemodialysis.
• Background in training, teaching, or healthcare education.
• Familiarity with or interest in telehealth technologies.
• Certifications:
  
  CNN, CDN.
