RN - House Supervisor

The Registered Nurse (RN) maintains the delivery of quality care by ensuring the nursing care plan is followed. The RN supervises Licensed Practical Nurses, Certified Nursing Assistants, and orientees, contributing to a team-focused environment that prioritizes safety and quality patient care.

• Perform nursing assessments on all patients within 8 hours of admission to establish individualized care plans.
• Identify patient teaching needs and collaborate with patients, families, and interdisciplinary teams.
• Provide timely communication regarding patient status to support continuity of care.
• Participate in patient rehabilitation programs, utilizing the nursing process for effective care delivery.
• Initiate discharge planning and patient education from the day of admission.
• Supervise and direct ancillary nursing personnel effectively whilst fostering a positive work environment.
• Maintain safety standards in personal and environmental aspects of care.
• Assume charge responsibilities as requested and identify opportunities for professional growth.

• BLS Certification required prior to first shift.
• ACLS Certification required prior to first shift (CIRH ONLY).
• Minimum two (2) years bedside clinical experience is highly desired.
