Join the Walmart team as a Vision Center Manager, responsible for driving sales, ensuring exceptional customer service, and managing operations in a retail setting.

$29.00/hr – $39.00/hr

• Drive sales in the Vision Center by ensuring effective merchandise presentation, accurate and competitive pricing, proper signing, in‑stock inventory levels, and forecasting.
• Model and enforce proper customer/member service approaches, ensuring complaints and issues are resolved within company guidelines.
• Oversee community outreach programs and encourage associates to serve as community ambassadors.
• Ensure compliance with company and legal policies, implementing asset protection and safety controls.
• Develop and execute action plans to improve performance and support company programs and initiatives.
• Supervise and develop associates, providing hiring, training, mentoring, recognition, and a culture of belonging.
• Provide quality eyewear by consulting with members, selecting products, verifying prescriptions, and maintaining optical equipment.
• Support the Open Door Policy by meeting with associates, listening, researching issues, and suggesting resolutions.
• Coordinate and oversee job‑related activities and assignments, building accountability and measuring progress.
• Promote continuous learning, adaptability, and a feeling of belonging among team members.

• Completion of 2+ years of college OR 1 year of retail experience plus 1 year of supervisory experience OR 2 years of general work experience (including 1 year optical).
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Current eligibility to work as an optician or apprentice optician under applicable state laws, regulations, and acts.

• Experience supervising associates.
