Job Description
The Account Executive position is responsible for actively prospecting for new accounts, establishing and maintaining profitable relationships with customers on behalf of the company, and maximizing sales potential with existing customers. As the Account Executive, you are the face of our organization; you must convey a sense of expertise in our telecommunications services. You will be accountable for meeting sales goals of the Account Executive position and will also be responsible for upholding the company vision, mission and core values.
As the direct contact to existing and prospective customers, you are in a key position to influence their satisfaction and our company's prosperity. This position requires the utmost tact, sensitivity, and professionalism.
- Client Relationship Management:
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients.
- Act as the primary point of contact for clients, addressing their needs and concerns.
- Understand client business needs and objectives to tailor solutions.
- Sales & Business Development:
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the telecom industry.
- Conduct sales presentations and product demonstrations.
- Negotiate contracts and close deals.
- Achieve and exceed sales targets and quotas.
- Product Knowledge & Expertise:
- Possess a strong understanding of telecom products, services, and technologies.
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends and competitor activities.
- Account Management:
- Manage and grow existing accounts by identifying upsell and cross-sell opportunities.
- Develop and implement account strategies to achieve growth goals.
- Collaborate with internal teams (e.g., marketing, customer service) to ensure client satisfaction.
- Communication & Interpersonal
Skills:- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Ability to build rapport and establish trust with clients.
- Must be a resident of West Tennessee with high community involvement and ties in West TN
- Prior business-to-business sales preferred
- Knowledge of cold call sales skills with the ability to sell products and services
- Technical aptitude and good math skills
- Positive attitude with a high level of self-motivation
- Customer oriented
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to maintain confidentiality
