Position DescriptionRyder is immediately hiring Permanent Full‑Time Warehouse Sit‑Down Forklift Operators.
- Pay: $17.25 per hour
- Overtime: $25.88 per hour
- Shift differential: $1.00
- Schedule:
Night shift (2‑2‑3 schedule) rotating weekdays and weekends from 6:00 pm to 6:00 am

Requirements- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- One (1) year or more related warehouse and/or powered industrial truck experience preferred
- Valid Forklift Operator’s License certified
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as a member of a team
- Team‑player attitude; able to work within a diverse environment
- Ability to create and maintain professional relationships at all levels
- Highly thorough and dependable
- Must be punctual with a good attendance record
- Performs work independently with minimal supervision
- High degree of initiative
- Accuracy even under pressure
- Ability to lift and/or push/pull up to 35 lbs
- Ability to stand for long periods of time
- Ability to work using health and safety methods
- Available for a flexible schedule on various work shifts
- Detail oriented with excellent follow‑up practices
Some positions require additional screening that may include employment and education verification; motor vehicle records check and a road test; and/or badging or background requirements of the customer to which you are assigned.
Responsibilities- Perform warehouse functions including loading, picking, packing, shipping, receiving, forklift operation, and cycle counting
- Work within performance measurement guidelines of the contract
- Accurately pick, pack, audit, tote induce, stage products, and load/unload trucks
- Manage day‑to‑day paperwork in a warehouse environment (e.g., picking sheets, returns, bills of lading)
- Provide technical and maintenance support for automated packing systems during the core shift hour of production
- Perform other duties as assigned
