Ryder is immediately hiring Permanent Full‑Time Warehouse Sit‑Down Forklift Operators.

• Pay: $17.25 per hour
• Overtime: $25.88 per hour
• Shift differential: $1.00
• Schedule:
  
  Night shift (2‑2‑3 schedule) rotating weekdays and weekends from 6:00 pm to 6:00 am

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• One (1) year or more related warehouse and/or powered industrial truck experience preferred
• Valid Forklift Operator’s License certified
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as a member of a team
• Team‑player attitude; able to work within a diverse environment
• Ability to create and maintain professional relationships at all levels
• Highly thorough and dependable
• Must be punctual with a good attendance record
• Performs work independently with minimal supervision
• High degree of initiative
• Accuracy even under pressure
• Ability to lift and/or push/pull up to 35 lbs
• Ability to stand for long periods of time
• Ability to work using health and safety methods
• Available for a flexible schedule on various work shifts
• Detail oriented with excellent follow‑up practices

Some positions require additional screening that may include employment and education verification; motor vehicle records check and a road test; and/or badging or background requirements of the customer to which you are assigned.

• Perform warehouse functions including loading, picking, packing, shipping, receiving, forklift operation, and cycle counting
• Work within performance measurement guidelines of the contract
• Accurately pick, pack, audit, tote induce, stage products, and load/unload trucks
• Manage day‑to‑day paperwork in a warehouse environment (e.g., picking sheets, returns, bills of lading)
• Provide technical and maintenance support for automated packing systems during the core shift hour of production
• Perform other duties as assigned
