NWBCishiringa Construction Project Engineertosupportconstructionprojectsfrompreconstructionthroughcloseout .Inthisrole,you’llhelpkeepprojectsorganizedandmovingbymanagingdocumentation,coordinatingwithsubcontractorsandstakeholders,supporting schedules,andreinforcingqualityandsafetystandards—bothintheofficeandonactivejobsites.
Key Responsibilities- Supportmultipleprojectsatvariousstages(precon→closeout)
- Maintainaccurateprojectdocumentationandrecords(drawings,revisions,logs)
- CoordinateOACmeetings(agendas,minutes,action items)
- Prepareprojectstatusupdatesandreports
- ManageRFIs(draft/upload/track/distribute)
- Processandtracksubmittalsforcompliancewithprojectrequirements
- Assistwithprojectschedulesandshort-termlookaheads
- Supportpreconstruction(takeoffs,scope support,subcontractor outreach,bid leveling)
- Trackmaterialdeliveriesandverifyagainstapprovedsubmittals
- Performon-siteQA/QCandsafetyinspections;reinforce clean/organizedjobsites
- Supportcloseoutdocumentationandpunchlistcompletion
- Constructionindustryexperience(internshiporprofessionalexperienceacceptable)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Experienceorfamiliaritywith Procoreand Bluebeam
- Basicunderstandingofconstructionprocesses,building codes,andindustrystandards
- Strong organization,attentiontodetail,andcommunicationskills
- Valid driver’slicenseandabilitytotraveltojobsitesasneeded
- Abilitytonavigateactivejobsitesandlift/carryupto
