The Senior Project Manageroverseesthecompany 'slargestandmostcomplexconstructionprojectsfromestimatethroughcompletion.
Thisroleprovidesoverallprojectdirection,managesclientrelationships,andoverseesconstruction,financial performance,andprojectteams.
Workingunderthe Vice President ,theSenior Project Managerensuresprojectsarecompletedsuccessfullywhilemeetingcompanyandclientobjectives .Traveltovariousjobsitesisrequired.
- Leadassignedconstructionprojectsfromestimatingandpre-constructionthroughprojectcompletionandcloseout.
- Review plans,specifications,contracts,project requirements,andsiteconditionstosupportaccurateestimatingandprojectplanning.
- Developprojectschedules,coordinatematerialsandsubcontractors,andmanagesubmittalsandotherpre-constructionrequirements.
- Plananddirectcompanycrewsandsubcontractorstoensureworkiscompletedsafely,efficiently,and onschedule.
- Workcloselywith Superintendents,project teams,owners,engineers,andsubcontractorsthroughouttheproject.
- Monitorjobcosts,quantities,schedules,forecasts,andoverallprojectfinancialperformance.
- Prepareandmanagechangeorders,includingsupportingdocumentationandsubcontractorchanges.
- Provideregularprojectupdatesregardingprogress,projected costs,scheduling,risks,andotherprojectissues.
- Overseeprojectcloseout,includingsubstantialcompletion,finaljob-costreview,andrequireddocumentation.
- Supportthemanagementanddevelopmentofprojectpersonnelincoordinationwithcompanyleadership.
- Maintain accurate,organizedprojectrecordsanddocumentation.
- Traveltoprojectsitesasrequired.
- Civil Engineering,Construction Engineering,Construction Managementdegreepreferred,oranequivalentcombinationofeducationandexperience.
- Minimumof
10yearsofprojectmanagementexperience. - Experienceworkingwithowners,engineers,clients,employees,agency personnel,vendors,suppliers,customers,andthegeneralpublic.
- Proficiencywithcomputersandavarietyofconstruction-relatedsoftware.
- Valid driver'slicenserequired.
- Abilitytoworkindependentlywithminimalsupervision.
