Sales Associate

Heritage Landscape Supply Group is seeking a self‑motivated, customer‑service‑oriented individual for a Counter Sales Associate role. This full‑time position focuses on order entry at the sales counter, with additional duties in warehouse stocking, shipping, and loading trucks. The workweek is Monday‑through‑Friday with overtime during busy seasons.

• Enter orders at the point of sale using the company computer system
• Interact with customers over phone, email, and in‑person
• Greet customers with a friendly attitude
• Basic computer and phone skills
• Communicate correct products, pricing and sales to customers
• Create quotes to estimate project cost based on customer measurements
• Schedule truck deliveries efficiently
• Maintain effective communication with managers, staff, and clients
• Demonstrate honesty, courtesy, and respect at all times
• Maintain a clean work environment
• Learn basic product knowledge for customers
• Inform management of special order material needs
• Assist with inventory cycle counts
• Handle order picking, staging, & replenishment
• Manage shipping/receiving operations
• Load/unload delivery vehicles
• Perform other related duties as assigned

• Basic computer knowledge and internet use
• Experience with irrigation/landscaping products preferred
• Bilingual (English & Spanish) preferred
• Forklift experience helpful
• Ability to lift 75 lbs; 50 lbs repetitively
• Pass pre‑employment drug test/background screening
