University Student Assistant – Athletics Media Relations (Fall 2025 – Spring 2026)

Salary: $500.00 flat rate per month (Max 26 hours per week)

Position Summary: Assist staff and faculty with research preparation, classroom instruction, departmental operational needs, and administrative support duties across campus offices, labs, gym, and library. The role provides on‑campus work experience for students.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Enrolled as a JSU student taking at least three (3) hours per semester (full‑time or part‑time). International students must meet full‑time requirements (see below).
• For non‑first‑time students, a GPA of 2.00 or higher.
• Provide evidence of enrollment and GPA (unofficial transcript or printed enrollment/GPA from MyJSU).

Notice Regarding International Students:

• Enrolled as a full‑time JSU student taking at least 12 hours per semester.
• Must possess a valid passport, F‑1 or J‑1 visa, U.S. Customs Form I‑94, and official social security card indicating “Valid for Work Only” or similar.
