The Senior Service Technician - Projects is responsible for installation, removal, swapping, and disposing of beverage dispensing equipment, icemakers, food, and beverage coolers for our customers. This position involves 75% to 80% travel in a company-provided vehicle for up to 2 weeks at a time throughout the Mid and Eastern United States. The role includes surveying customer locations to ensure all mechanical, electrical, and plumbing requirements are met.

Provides customer assistance in resolving questions, problems, or complaints regarding equipment. This is a senior role; therefore, the person will also assist others with problem-solving.

• Contact assigned customers as directed by the Service Manager or General Manager to inform them of upcoming service activities.
• Survey customer sites to verify utility, space, and weight requirements for equipment installation.
• Follow all safety protocols related to equipment installation and removal.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area on customer premises to prevent accidents.
• Complete documentation, including verification of closing calls, invoice completion, asset verification, and customer documentation.
• Accurately record work completed using the company-provided mobile device.
• Foster positive relationships with customers to uphold a strong company and product image.
• Perform scheduled and unscheduled service activities, including emergency calls, preventative maintenance, surveys, and installations.
• Keep the service area and vehicle clean and organized.
• Operate company vehicles safely and comply with all safety guidelines.
• Submit weekly Driver Reports and adhere to Fleet Manual guidelines.
• Submit all required expense and attendance reports.
• Follow all safety standards and policies set by manufacturers and the company.

• Willingness to learn how to operate, maintain, and store equipment and moving assets.
• Willingness to learn connecting equipment to water sources, including water lines and drainage.
• Willingness to learn working with copper, braided, PVC, and PEX lines.
• Ability to speak, read, and write in English.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record.

Physical Requirements:

This role involves physical activities such as lifting, bending, pushing, pulling, and extended walking or standing. May involve working in confined spaces, using ladders or lifts, and occasionally working from rooftops. Uniforms and PPE are provided by the company.
