Accounting Manager

Job Description

Reporting to the Division Controller, this Accounting Manager will supervise six direct reports based in the US and other markets. The role works closely with the global accounting team, FP&A corporate team, technical accounting & compliance team, sales and marketing, and collections. Quarterly interactions with external audit partners are expected.

• Oversee the revenue and expense accounting for the business unit on a monthly basis, supporting the corporate effort to produce consolidated financial statements.
• Review and provide analysis of monthly statements of income and the balance sheet (division).
• Review and provide reconciliations and adjusting journal entries based on established policy thresholds and accounting regulatory guidance.
• Direct compliance efforts with company established accounting controls and policies.
• Review and approve contracted termination and damage fees across the business unit for compliance with company policy.
• Assist the corporate FP&A team with variance analysis regarding monthly financial results and production of sales forecasts.

• Minimum five years at a national public accounting firm.
• At least seven years in an accounting position.
• Active CPA license from any state.
• Preferred: experience with a multi‑national company and IFRS.
• Preferred: knowledge of Oracle financial systems.
• Required:
  
  documented experience producing financial statements and analysis under tight reporting deadlines.

Annual Salary: $150,000 – $160,000 USD
