Accounting Supervisor

SNI is seeking a Accounting Supervisor to join our client, a well-established credit union in Jacksonville, FL
. This role will oversee the daily operations of the accounting team, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and efficiency in financial reporting. The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader with a strong accounting background and the ability to guide and mentor staff.

Direct-hire, full-time opportunity

• Oversee daily accounting team operations, ensuring accurate workflow and financial transaction processing
• Perform and review general ledger reconciliations and financial statements (monthly, quarterly, annual)
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and credit union regulations, including BSA and OFAC requirements
• Partner with outsourced vendors for accounting and card functions; resolve discrepancies and support audits
• Coach and develop accounting staff, promoting growth and performance excellence

• 2+ years of credit union or banking accounting experience
• 1+ year of supervisory or leadership experience
• Associate’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required;
  Bachelor’s preferred
• Strong PC and Microsoft Office skills; knowledge of credit union products/services preferred
