Tax Preparer Full‑Time – Year‑Round

Community Tax, LLC (CTAX) is one of the nation’s leading tax resolution and tax services firms. We are accelerating our growth and seeking experienced tax preparers for permanent, full‑time, year‑round employment. The position may be based in our Jacksonville HQ or performed remotely.

Desired candidate:

• An active IRS PTIN authorization to prepare taxes for individuals and businesses.
• Recent tax‑preparation experience in a fast‑paced environment.
• Desire to grow within the tax field.

• Preparation and filing of tax returns for Community Tax clients (individuals and businesses).
• Providing world‑class service to clients facing life‑changing challenges.
• Collaborating with key team members and departments to meet client needs promptly.
• Daily client interaction to complete tax returns.
• Utilizing technology to support high‑volume client flow while maintaining quality.
• Ensuring clients receive fast, accurate, professional services that achieve the best possible outcome for their tax challenges.

We also provide an internal Enrolled Agent study program.

• Active IRS PTIN.
• Three+ seasons of experience preparing and filing individual and business returns.
• Some college education (Associate’s or Bachelor’s preferred).
• Knowledge of Lacerte a plus.
• Ability to work accurately in a fast‑paced environment.
• Licensed CPA or Enrolled Agent preferred but not required.
• Strong communication skills; heavy client interaction.
• Bilingual fluency in English and Spanish a plus, not required.
