Staff Accountant

• Perform complex account reconciliations and resolve discrepancies promptly.
• Conduct variance analysis to identify trends, anomalies, and opportunities for improvement.
• Manage and execute month‑end close processes, ensuring timely and accurate reporting.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for a new software implementation (prior UAT experience not required, but willing to be trained). UAT testing or Parallel Testing experience preferred.
• Assist with process improvements and contribute to system enhancements.

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (required).
• Strong understanding of GAAP and accounting principles.
• Proven experience with:
  • Complex reconciliations
  • Variance analysis
  • Month‑end close
• Advanced analytical and problem‑solving skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with large ERP systems.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

This is a contract position based out of Jacksonville, FL.

The pay range for this position is $35.00 – $37.00/hr.
