NOW is the best time to make a move, not after busy season starts. If you spent this past season telling yourself "I can't do that again," the window is open. Once extension season wraps up this fall, things slow down until January. That gives you time to interview, transition, and get settled before the pressure comes back around.
We're working with a Ponte Vedra Beach CPA firm that's built its model differently. The expectation isn't constant urgency, and success here isn't measured by how many hours you can push through.
As a Senior Tax Associate, you'll handle complex work, have direct access to leadership, and join a team where people tend to stay, not burn out. Start now and you'll have months to learn the systems, meet the team, and build relationships with clients before next season ramps up.
This role also offers a clear, supported path to Manager and Partner, with the mentorship and tools to get you there.
What You'll Do- Prepare and review complex individual, corporate, and partnership tax returns
- Collaborate with partners and managers on high-impact engagements
- Stay current on tax law changes and contribute to firm-wide knowledge sharing
- 2+ years of recent public accounting tax experience
- Strong technical (tax) knowledge and communication skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
- Medical, dental, and vision insurance, free and low cost options
- 401(k) with full match
- 15 days of PTO + 12 paid holidays which includes the Week of July 4th off
- Up to $4,000 toward CPA exam prep and exam fees, plus coaching support
- Business development and referral incentives
- Full week off for July 4th
- Leadership that is accessible and involved in your development
- A team environment where expectations are clear and reasonable
- A defined path to Manager and Partner, not just "we'll see"
All communications will be treated confidentially to protect your current employment.
