Controller
toleadfinancialoperations,strengtheninternalcontrols,andsupportstrategicdecision-makingaswescale.

Reportingtothe Chief Financial Officer ,the Controllerwilloverseejobcosting,budgeting,forecasting,cashflowmanagement,andfinancialreportingwhileprovidingfinancialleadershipandpartneringcloselywithprojectmanagersandexecutives.

What You Will Do :

• Refineinternalcontrolframeworks,ensuringappropriatesegregationofduties,invoiceapprovalworkflows,andaccurateaccumulationoffinancialdata.
• Oversee budgeting,forecasting,andreportingwhilepartneringwithoperationstoensureaccuracyacrossWIPschedules,regionalprojections,andprojectmilestones
• Ensurebalancesheetaccountsareproperlyanalyzedeachmonthandthattimelycorrectiveactionistakenwhenrequired.
• EstablishandmaintainA/Rqualitystandards,focusingonpromptcollections,zerodelinquentreceivables,andminimalunbilledcosts.
• Drive timely,accuratetimereportingtosupportpreciseprojectforecasting,payroll processing,andlaborburdenallocations.
• Conductfinancialduediligencetoproactivelyidentify,report,andmitigateoperationalrisks
• Translateorganizationalstrategy,ensuringteammembersunderstandtheirroleinachievingbroadercompanygoals.
• Manageworkindependentlywhilesupportingthecareerdevelopmentandcoachingofteammembers.

What You Will Bringto Scorpio :

• Bachelor’sdegreein
  
  Accounting,Finance,Business,orarelatedfield.
• 10+yearsofaccountingexperience,withatleast3yearsinconstruction
• Experienceworkingwithrevenuesof $200millionormore.
• Strongunderstandingofconstructionjobcosting,WIPreporting,percentage-of-completion accounting,andlaborrates,includinglaborburdensandcostallocations.
• Proficiency with Sage Intacctorsimilarconstructionaccountingsoftware .
