Corporate Controller

We are working with a Private Equity-Backed, high-growth SaaS company who are $30M+ in revenue and are looking for a Corporate Controller to build out its accounting function as it scales. The revenue streams are a combination of software, hardware, and professional services, and is investing in its finance back end, including a move from Quick Books to a new ERP.

Reporting to the CFO, the Corporate Controller will own accounting and the close process and be a key partner as the company grows. You will start with a lean team and take ownership in building out the headcount.
This is a hands-on role at a growth-stage company: you will touch nearly every part of finance and will work closely with the CFO to improve how things work as you go.

• Own complex revenue recognition under ASC 606 across software, hardware, and professional services
• Own the monthly close process and financial reporting
• Help set up and oversee multiple entities domestically and internationally
• Oversee the general ledger and all operational accounting
• Lead, hire, and develop the accounting team as it expands
• Partner with the CFO on reporting for the board and investors
• Drive the ERP migration and improve processes, controls, and systems as the company scales
• Work closely with Sales, Operations, and other teams to support the business

• Strong ASC 606 experience with multiple revenue streams (hardware, software, and professional services combination is a big plus)
• Hands-on experience identifying performance obligations, determining standalone selling price (SSP), and allocating transaction price across bundled software, hardware, and services arrangements.
• Experience setting up and overseeing multiple entities domestically and internationally
• Experience leading multiple direct reports, ideally across lean high performing teams
• ERP implementation or migration experience, and government contract experience, are nice to have

• Active CPA
• Public accounting and private company experience, with a SaaS focus
• Track record of growing with a company (for example, joining around $20-40M ARR and scaling to $60-100M+)

• Fully remote, with team meetings in person about four times a year
