The Opportunity
RS&H is seeking a Senior HRIS Analyst to join our People Team!
Job SummaryThis position supports the maintenance and development of the Human Resource Management System and other systems managed by the Human Resources Information System (HRIS) team. It translates business objectives into system requirements to optimize processes, improve efficiency, and elevate the user experience. The role implements these changes, serves as the go‑to expert for the local HRIS, ensures HRIS meets organizational needs, recommends new software, and manages vast amounts of data.
EssentialFunctions
- Lead highly complex projects throughout their lifecycle, managing significant complexity and impact; independently lead project tasks, collaborate with leaders on complex issues, and serve as a resource for other team members.
- Establish relationships and act as trusted advisor to cross‑functional stakeholders to elicit, analyze, document, and validate business requirements and drive towards business goals and objectives.
- Conduct data analysis, build models using data mining and statistical tools such as Excel to develop project stories and establish key objectives using data and insights; synthesize quantitative analysis and effectively communicate findings.
- Build analytical models utilizing both financial and non‑financial data; use broad financial analysis and business knowledge to influence management decisions.
- Utilize a logical approach to problem‑solving by participating in strategy discussions with leaders, developing innovative solutions to key business issues, and delivering actionable recommendations; prepare and present results to business and project leaders.
- Identify and implement opportunities for process improvement; gain buy‑in from key stakeholders on business‑critical priorities.
- Create accurate, high‑quality, and timely deliverables.
- Perform all other duties as assigned.
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Computer Science, or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- 5 years of relevant experience.
- Intermediate to advanced proficiency with Excel and other Microsoft Office applications.
- Understanding and application of qualitative and quantitative measurement and data collection design principles; ability to analyze and evaluate data and identify patterns, trends, and formulate recommendations.
- Strong attention to detail, commitment to follow through, and ability to work independently with general direction and oversight from leadership; ability to multi‑task, prioritize workload, set priorities, and manage multiple projects.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills and strong interpersonal skills, with ability to relate to and understand people in a courteous and professional manner.
- Experience with ADP Lyric.
- HR professional certification.
- Experience working in an architecture or engineering firm.
