Bilingual Payroll Specialist

CSI Companies is seeking a Bilingual Payroll Specialist to work with one of our top clients.

Duration
: 12‑Month Contract |
Pay
: $28/hour W2 |
Shift

Monday – Friday 8am – 5pm

Job Summary

Our client is seeking a detail‑oriented Bilingual (Spanish Speaking) Payroll Administrator to support accurate and timely processing of payroll across multiple business units. This role handles payroll administration, employee data maintenance, union contract compliance, and delivers high‑quality customer service related to payroll inquiries.

Key Responsibilities ul>
  • Process assigned payrolls accurately and on schedule using an integrated HR/Payroll system.
  • Perform time entry, validate balances, review system edits, and verify pay rates.
  • Create and update employee tax changes and payroll‑related records.
  • Maintain working knowledge of union contracts and prepare union benefit and third‑party payments.
  • Research, troubleshoot, and resolve payroll discrepancies and processing errors.
  • Provide professional, high‑level customer service for inbound payroll inquiries.
  • Document and update payroll processes and procedures as needed.
  • Support additional payroll and accounting tasks as assigned.
  • Required Qualifications
    • High School Diploma or equivalent.
    • 1–2 years of general accounting or related financial experience.
    • 1–3 years of payroll processing experience (mainframe or client‑server systems preferred).
    • Bilingual in English and Spanish (required).
    Technical Skills
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint).
    • Experience with Oracle Payroll HCM strongly preferred.
    • Experience with ADP Smart Compliance highly desirable.

    • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
    • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
    • Ability to prioritize, organize, and manage multiple deadlines.
    • Strong customer service and problem‑solving skills.
    • Ability to document, proofread, and edit processes and procedures.
    • Ability to gather, analyze, and report payroll and operational data.
    • Professional knowledge of office practices and etiquette.
