Title: Research Analyst

Description: The Research Analyst will play a critical role in supporting strategic decision‑making by conducting market research, analyzing business trends, and providing actionable insights to drive growth and competitive advantage.

Duties/Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive market research to identify emerging trends, opportunities, and potential threats in target industries.
  • Gather, analyze, and interpret data from various sources including industry reports, competitor analysis, and customer feedback.
  • Prepare clear and concise reports, presentations, and dashboards to communicate findings and recommendations to the business development team and senior leadership.
  • Monitor and evaluate competitor strategies, market share, and product offerings.
  • Assist in the development and refinement of business strategies based on research findings.
  • Support the identification and assessment of potential partners, clients, and new markets.
  • Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to ensure alignment of research activities with business objectives.
  • Manage and maintain sales data and information in CRM and other platforms.
  • Assist the BD and marketing teams on client events such as inviting clients and follow‑up.
  • Cold call and email outreach campaigns to prospective clients.
  • Set client meetings for Business Development/Project Development teams.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Required Skills/Abilities
  • Strong knowledge of the industry and the market, and the ability to identify and pursue new opportunities.
  • Excellent communication, persuasion, negotiation, and presentation skills, and the ability to build rapport and trust with clients and partners.
  • Highly motivated, self‑driven, and results‑oriented, and driven by challenges and opportunities.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, and to manage multiple projects and tasks simultaneously.
  • Knowledge of business development processes and strategy formulation.
  • Strong organizational and project management abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Education/Experience
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, Marketing, Statistics, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
  • Proven experience as a research analyst, preferably in a business development or related environment.
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills with the ability to interpret complex data.
  • Proficiency in research tools and data analysis software (e.g., Excel, SPSS, Tableau).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proven experience in business development, sales, or a similar role.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, CRM software, and other relevant tools.
Travel Requirements
  • Flexibility for significant travel on short notice for urgent business needs, to attend meetings, training, and events.
  • Maintain a professional demeanor and appearance during business trips.
  • Compliance with company travel policies and procedures.
Physical Requirements
  • Ability to sit, stand, and walk for long periods of time.
  • Ability to use a computer, phone, printer, scanner, and other office equipment.
  • Visual acuity for detailed work and computer use.
  • Ability to lift, carry, and move up to 25 pounds of files, documents, and materials.
