About our Summer Internship Program

RF-SMART's Summer Internship Program gives you real work, real responsibility, and direct access to leaders across the organization. This is a 12-week, full-time experience—not a resume line item, but a launchpad.

As an Operational Excellence Intern you'll gain hands‑on experience supporting the Operational Excellence, Professional Services, and Customer Success and Support initiatives.

What You'll Do

Alongside your project work, approximately 5–6 hours each week are built into your schedule for structured development. These two tracks run simultaneously.

Role Responsibilities:

• Triage and report on shared Customer email accounts
• Create and send Statements of Work and Change Orders
• Conduct project reviews
• Conduct time entry reviews

Grow and Connect:

• Collaborate directly with experienced Operational Excellence professionals and receive regular coaching and feedback
• Discover your natural talents through a Clifton Strengths assessment
• Develop presentation skills, communication, and professional presence through workshops
• Collaborate on a group innovation project that spans the full 12 weeks
• Hear directly from RF-SMART leaders in our Meet the Leader series—interactive sessions covering career paths, industry insights, and real advice
• Build your network at our intern alumni panel and networking mixer
• Participate in volunteer events, National Intern Day, and company-wide activities
• Access Linked In Learning throughout the summer

What You Bring:

• Currently enrolled in a degree program at the time of the internship
• Considered a Junior or Senior by credit hours
• Available to work 40 hours per week in‑office
• Eligible to work in the United States for any employer without future sponsorship
• Duration:
  May 10, 2027 – July 30, 2027 (12 weeks)
• Hours:
  
  40 hours per week
• Pay: $25/hour
• Open to undergraduate students, graduate students, and May/Spring graduates
