Plumbing Superintendent (Interior/Exterior, Site Work) – Healthcare
Join our innovative team as a Full‑Time Construction Plumbing Superintendent to lead plumbing projects for a large‑scale ambulatory care center and dental clinic. The position begins at Naval Base Kings Bay, Georgia, followed by mobilization to Guantanamo Bay, Cuba in the summer of 2026. Relocation is required and includes a valid passport and in‑depth background screening.

As a Plumbing Superintendent you will oversee all plumbing and mechanical construction activities on site, guiding crews and subcontractors, ensuring timely, high‑quality completion while adhering to safety standards and budget constraints. Your role supports RQ’s mission to deliver innovative, disciplined, and teamwork‑driven results.
Day to Day Responsibilities- Supervise plumbing crews and subcontractors on project sites.
- Ensure projects are completed on schedule, meet quality standards, and stay within budget.
- Enforce safety standards and code compliance (IPC, ICC, NFPA 99).
- Coordinate with project managers, architects, and other trades.
- Provide leadership, mentorship, and foster a culture of teamwork and discipline.
- High school diploma or GED (minimum).
- Preferred: courses in construction management, plumbing trade school.
- Class A Wastewater and Class B Drinking Water licenses (or ability to obtain).
- Med Gas Certification and familiarity with NFPA 99.
- Knowledge of IPC and ICC codes.
- Five+ years as a Plumbing/Mechanical Superintendent, managing projects with a plumbing scope of at least $1,000,000.
- Three+ years field or trade experience with pressurized mechanical & plumbing systems.
- Experience in government, military, or large commercial construction preferred; design‑build experience preferred.
- Master plumbing license preferred.
- Computer literacy (Outlook) and software knowledge (BIM) preferred.
- CPR, First Aid, OSHA 30‑hour, EM‑385, and STS certifications (training available).
All candidates must provide evidence of identity and U.S. work authorization, and successfully pass a drug screening and a Department of Defense background check for access to military base sites.
