Job DescriptionThe role is based in Jacksonville, FL.
The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:
- Assist in overseeing activities of construction crafts/trades within an assigned area of responsibility.
- Receive continual supervision and direction in the performance of assigned responsibility.
- Receive technical and operational direction from the assigned Superintendent or Project Manager.
- Assist with the planning and coordination of sub‑contractor activities within the area of responsibility.
- Monitor subcontractor personnel to ensure adherence with project plans and promote quality control of all installations.
- Enforce policies, procedures and related work rules as established by Field Management.
- Assist with compliance of the AECOM Hunt safety program that creates a safe and healthy work environment on the jobsite.
- Work with document control systems, project management systems and other software or databases to keep information flow up‑to‑date and accurate including but not limited to updating drawings, RFIs, submittals, meeting minutes and other documents as required.
- When requested, interface with client, architect, and design professionals to ensure compliance with design intent and client satisfaction.
- Contribute to building good communications between field management, project management, subcontractors, suppliers, vendors, and specialty contractors to ensure construction complies with plans, specifications, and company quality standards.
- Responsible for continuously expanding and updating professional knowledge and honing training skills in order to enhance individual and team innovation and productivity.
Minimum Requirements:
- Candidate must have completed a Bachelor's Degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Construction Management, Building Technology or a similar major, or have demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience supporting large complex projects (stadiums, sports facilities, arenas).
- Experience in construction in Low Voltage systems (telecom, fiber optics, data centers, CCTV, security systems, BAS).
- Experience in broadcast facility construction, stadium systems and cabling.
- Ability to read and interpret MEP drawings.
- Applicable OSHA certification(s).
- Able to follow directions and interact with all levels of management on a working construction project.
- Prior internship experience within the construction industry.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Sponsorship for U.S. employment authorization is not available now or in the future for this position.
- Relocation assistance is not available for this position.

Offered rate of compensation will be based on individual education, qualifications, experience, and work location. The range for this position is $24.95 to $43.66 hourly.
