Warranty Service Manager

Overview

David Weekley Homes is proactively identifying candidates for future Warranty Service Manager roles supporting new residential construction homes in Jacksonville. This position requires a self-starter who can work independently and collaborate with customers, builders, and sub-contractors in a fast-paced environment while achieving high levels of customer satisfaction.

• Coordinate and schedule repairs with contractors and customers
• Follow up, inspect, and ensure accurate completion of all repairs
• Hold contractors accountable for results
• Instruct customers on home maintenance and communicate what items are not warrantable
• Manage your budget
• Handle multiple tasks and projects within designated time frames
• Say "no" when necessary and overcome objections professionally
• Responsible for achieving high levels of customer satisfaction
• Performing minor repairs

• A positive attitude and good interpersonal skills are essential
• Ability to stay calm in confrontational situations
• Previous experience in the home building industry and/or some home repair experience is helpful
• Previous experience in a customer service environment
• A team player able to work closely with customers, builders, and sub-contractors in a fast-paced environment
