Traveling Site Superintendent – Retail

Planit Construction is seeking an experienced Traveling Site Superintendent to oversee construction projects across the United States. This position is ideal for a hands-on construction professional who enjoys traveling and managing jobsites from mobilization through completion.

The Traveling Superintendent will oversee retail and commercial projects
, coordinating subcontractors, crews, vendors, inspections, schedules, safety, and quality while serving as the primary field leader on each project.

• Travel throughout the U.S. to manage construction projects
• Supervise daily jobsite activities for retail, commercial
• Coordinate subcontractors, trades, vendors, deliveries, and inspections
• Manage project schedules and communicate progress and potential delays
• Ensure work is completed according to plans, specifications, and quality standards
• Enforce company and OSHA safety requirements
• Conduct jobsite meetings and maintain daily construction reports
• Review plans, drawings, and project specifications
• Coordinate with Project Managers, clients, architects, engineers, and subcontractors
• Identify and resolve field issues efficiently
• Manage punch lists, final inspections, and project closeout
• Maintain a clean, organized, and professional jobsite
• Represent Planit Construction professionally with clients and project partners

• 5+ years of construction experience
  , with previous Superintendent experience preferred
• Experience with retail, commercial
• Willingness and ability to travel extensively throughout the United States
• Strong understanding of construction scheduling and jobsite coordination
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, plans, and specifications
• Strong leadership and communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple subcontractors and trades simultaneously
• OSHA 30 certification preferred
• Procore or other construction management software experience preferred
• Valid driver's license
• Ability to work independently and make sound field decisions
