About the Position

The Maintenance, Repair & Overhaul (MRO) Planner ensures smooth repair processes from order placement to delivery. Responsibilities include managing repair orders, coordinating third‑party vendors, providing customer quotes, and maintaining communication with internal teams and customers.

Primary Responsibilities
  • Order Management & Follow‑Up – Place orders and follow status to meet turnaround times.
  • Customer Quotes & Communication – Provide accurate repair quotes and maintain clear customer communication.
  • Vendor Coordination & Quality Control – Place vendor orders, approve service providers, and manage vendor audits.
  • Repair Order Monitoring – Track overdue orders and monitor progress throughout the cycle.
  • Parts Sourcing & Management – Source parts accurately and on time.
  • Rotable Equipment Management – Send rotables for repair and track documentation.
  • System Updates & Record Maintenance – Update order status in Quantum Control and maintain accurate records.
  • Administrative Support – Perform reports, file management, and assist daily operations.
  • Customer Service & Problem‑Solving – Resolve customer issues efficiently.
  • Assist in Pulling Parts for Repairs – Help clerks retrieve parts once approvals received.
Required Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • 2+ years of order management, customer service, or administrative support in a technical aviation environment.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.
  • Collaborative teamwork and professional interactions with customers, vendors, and departments.
  • Basic problem‑solving skills and follow established processes.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in aviation, aerospace, or MRO industry.
  • Familiarity with Quantum Control or similar ERP/MRO software.
  • Knowledge of parts sourcing, vendor coordination, and repair order processing.
  • Experience preparing customer quotes and managing communications.
  • Understanding of rotables, repair cycles, and management processes.
  • Prior experience supporting quality control or vendor performance evaluation.
  • Ability to interpret technical terminology related to parts and repairs.
