Key Responsibilities

  • Manages a list of clients ensuring consistent and pro-active communication.
  • Builds ongoing relationships with client professionals, providing superior customer service and support.
  • Works in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment to achieve business goals.
  • Accomplishes targeted performance objectives with a positive and can-do attitude.
  • Supports, educates, and trains clients with new product offerings.
  • Develops a trusted advisor relationship with client contacts and builds a service plan to meet client expectations.
  • Meets customer needs and maintains loyalty by acting as a liaison between billing, customer service, technical support, and other internal departments to resolve issues promptly.
  • Engages with customers regularly to deepen relationships and identify new opportunities through proactive communication.
  • Alerts management of unusual, at-risk situations or escalations.
  • Responsible for overall client retention and maintaining quality service standards.
  • Retrieves and analyzes iWorkflow tickets to ensure client concerns are addressed and satisfaction is achieved professionally and timely.
  • Develops and delivers consistent and superior account management.
  • Ensures overall satisfaction of assigned accounts.
  • Maintains constant communication with clients.
  • Keeps up to date with industry and management trends, demonstrating a strong willingness to learn.
  • Performs all other responsibilities assigned by the iPayment, Inc. management team.
  • Required Skills

    • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with technical aptitude.

    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

    Experience and Education

    • 3 - 5 years in a business office environment.
    • Associate or Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
    • Experience in customer service, communication, or sales roles.
    • Ability to work effectively with professionals of varying technical proficiency.
    • Proficient to advanced skills in Microsoft Office and Windows applications.
    • Prior customer relations experience in call centers and financial services environments.
    • Account management experience is a plus.
    • Extensive knowledge of relevant programs.
    • Understanding of company and department roles, policies, procedures, and functions.
    • Proven achievement in diverse organizational settings.
