Traveling IV Sedation Dental Assistant - $27-31/hr

$27.00/hr - $31.00/hr

• Travel Floating Assistant/Ability to go to any given North Florida office in our network.
• Significant previous experience assisting IV Sedated patients is REQUIRED
• $27-$31 per hour base + BONUS opportunity up to $1,500/mo
• Previous experience with Full Arch Fixed Implant cases and dental photogrammetry (ICam or similar) is highly preferred
• Minimum 5+ years dental assisting required (minimum requirements must be met to meet top of pay range)
• Eligible to earn monthly bonus
• Ability to work 4-5 days per week (including some evenings and weekends)

• Support the clinical needs of the practices for patients and doctors
• Manage patient flow and pre/post operative care
• Setup and breakdown operatory pre/post treatment
• Take x-rays in compliance with the ALARA principal
• Provide patient education
• Fabricate quality temporary crowns and perform denture soft relines
• Perform quality impressions and bite registrations
• Perform quality digital intraoral scans
• Support patient charting
• Manage infection control - prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment
• Treatment plan presentation, providing payment options if required
• OSHA and HIPPA compliance

• Experience assisting with IV Sedated patients
• Minimum 5+ years dental assisting required
• Active EFDA or CDA certification for the State of Florida, including dental radiology certification
• BLS Certification
• Gentle and empathetic chair-side manner
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work collaboratively with team members to provide exceptional patient care
• Experience assisting with implant dentistry and/or oral surgery
• Proficient with practice management software (Open Dental preferred)
