_ Surgical Dental Assistant – Hands-On Patient Care _

Schedule:

Mon - Fri 7 - 4

• We take time to get to know our patients and provide carethat’spersonalized and thoughtful.

• Prepareoperatoriesfor set-up, decontamination, sterilization, cleaning, restocking,maintaininglab & procedural areas and ensuring equipment is ready for each patient.

• Provides positive customer service to patients by escorting, communicating, andpreppingthem for care by doctor. Reviewhistoryand progress of treatment plans with patients.

• Monitor patients during IV sedation procedures in accordance with state regulations and office protocols., take blood pressureas needed.

• TakesX-Rays, CBCT imaging, impressions, pours &preparesstudy models, coordinates lab cases.

• Records treatment information on patient’s charts,schedulesappointments, and providesfollow upandpost opdirection and instructions to patients.

• Graduate of accredited Surgical Assisting program

• 2 years of Dental Assisting experience required, 3+ years surgical assisting preferred

• Prosthodontics experience: including bone grafting & implants

• Skilled inutilizingstandard surgical office equipment including Autoclave,statim, model trimmer, Panoramic/CBCT, oxygen, laser, intra oral camera, hand pieces, etc.

• CPR, BLS, & First Aid Certified

• Preferred experience in a periodontic, oral surgery, prosthodontic, or implant focused practice

• Preferred experience with digital workflows, intraoral scanners, and implant treatment planning software.

• Preferred knowledge of full-arch and hybrid implant procedures and advanced implant restorations.
