Position OverviewThe new Psychiatrist will provide inpatient psychiatric care to adults with mental health and substance use disorders. The role requires a passion for delivering high‑quality, patient‑centered care and working with a diverse behavioral health patient population.
Responsibilities- Provide comprehensive inpatient psychiatric evaluation and treatment for adults with mental health and substance use disorders.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement care plans.
- Participate in clinical rounds, case discussions, and quality improvement activities.
- Mentor psychiatry residents and contribute to educational initiatives.
- Board Certified or Board Eligible Psychiatrist (General Psychiatry)
- Experience and comfort treating general adult populations, substance abuse and co‑occurring disorders
- Florida medical license or ability to obtain prior to start
