Job Summary
Inpatient Hematologist/Oncologist – 7 days on / 7 days off schedule at Baptist MD Anderson Cancer Center of Jacksonville, Florida.
Baptist MD Anderson Cancer Center is hiring an Inpatient Hematologist/Oncologist in Jacksonville, FL. In this role you will be able to provide the continuity of highest-quality cancer care to our hospitalized patients.
Responsibilities- Provide continuity of highest-quality cancer care for hospitalized patients.
- Collaborate with oncologists, advanced practice providers, specialists across disciplines, and the palliative care team to deliver round-the-clock care.
- Manage complex clinical cases including new diagnoses, hematology/oncology consultations, and inpatient therapy for cancer patients.
- Flexible 7-day on / 7-day off schedule.
- Opportunity to develop leadership skills in programmatic development, research, and quality initiatives.
- Eligibility for an adjunct academic appointment at the University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center in Houston.
- MD/DO, eligible or board-certified in Medical Oncology or Hematology/Oncology.
- Record of clinical achievement in the field.
- Active or unrestricted medical license in Florida.
- Board-eligible or certified in Medical Oncology and/or Hematology (American Board of Internal Medicine).
- DEA license.
