Job Summary

Inpatient Hematologist/Oncologist – 7 days on / 7 days off schedule at Baptist MD Anderson Cancer Center of Jacksonville, Florida.

Baptist MD Anderson Cancer Center is hiring an Inpatient Hematologist/Oncologist in Jacksonville, FL. In this role you will be able to provide the continuity of highest-quality cancer care to our hospitalized patients.

• Provide continuity of highest-quality cancer care for hospitalized patients.
• Collaborate with oncologists, advanced practice providers, specialists across disciplines, and the palliative care team to deliver round-the-clock care.
• Manage complex clinical cases including new diagnoses, hematology/oncology consultations, and inpatient therapy for cancer patients.

• Flexible 7-day on / 7-day off schedule.
• Opportunity to develop leadership skills in programmatic development, research, and quality initiatives.
• Eligibility for an adjunct academic appointment at the University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center in Houston.

• MD/DO, eligible or board-certified in Medical Oncology or Hematology/Oncology.
• Record of clinical achievement in the field.
• Active or unrestricted medical license in Florida.
• Board-eligible or certified in Medical Oncology and/or Hematology (American Board of Internal Medicine).
• DEA license.
