In the 2025‑2026 school year, the KIPP Jacksonville region will comprise four schools educating more than 3,000 students, kindergarten through twelfth grade, located on the North and West sides of Jacksonville, Florida.

Job Description

Full‑time, salaried Floating Guest Educators support the KIPP Jacksonville Public Schools community by stepping into classrooms to cover long‑term vacancies or teachers on PTO.

Responsibilities include:

  • Leading lessons, managing classroom expectations, and fostering a positive academic environment.
  • Collaborating with the school team and executing high‑quality lesson plans.
  • Assuring smooth transitions for students in their assigned district.
  • Reporting daily to the campus staff at one assigned campus.
Compensation & Benefits
  • Starting salary: $38,500

Qualifications
  • 60 college credits or a completed AA degree.
  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with a team of teachers.
  • Commitment to racial and educational equity for all children.
  • Passes a background check, as required by law.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree.
  • Clear path to obtaining a Florida teaching certificate.
  • Experience working in an urban public school or charter school setting.
