Salary:
The teacher starting salary is $48,700. Additional referendum money is available for the next four years, beginning at $7,730 for the 25‑26 school year. Teachers hired during the school year receive a prorated supplement based on the date of hire.
Guides the learning process toward curriculum goals. Establishes clear objectives for lessons, units, and projects and communicates them to students. Employs a variety of instructional techniques and media, consistent with the needs and capabilities of student groups, and strives to implement the District's philosophy of education.

- Education: Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university.
- Experience: None required. Salary is based on verified years of teaching experience.
- Certifications & Licenses: Must be eligible for Florida Department of Education certification in an appropriate subject area.
- ESE Certified Behavior Analyst
- Three years of successful teaching or work experience with students on the autism spectrum and/or with behaviorally complex needs.
- Board certification as a Behavior Analyst AND Florida Department of Education teaching certification in at least one ESE, Guidance and Counseling, or School Psychology area. Autism Spectrum Disorder endorsement preferred.
- ESE Intervention Representative
- Five years of successful classroom teaching experience in ESE or combined exceptional/regular education teaching.
- Background in behavior management techniques strongly recommended.
- Florida Department of Education certification in at least one ESE, Administration/Supervision, or Educational Leadership area.
- ESE Lead
- Three years of experience working with students with disabilities.
- Eligibility for Florida Department of Education certification in an appropriate subject area.
- ESE Site Coach
- Three years of experience working with students with emotional/behavioral disabilities or autism.
- Certification in at least one area of exceptional education (Autism certification or endorsement required) and one core content area or K‑6 certification.
- Knowledge of subject content.
- Strong oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Strong time management and organizational skills.
- Proficiency with word processing, spreadsheet, database, and presentation software.
- Ability to plan and implement a program of study that meets individual student needs, interests, and abilities.
- Ability to devote additional hours beyond the workday for grading, lesson plan preparation, etc.
- Ability to manage students and multiple tasks.
