Full-Time | Monday–Friday | No Nights or Weekends
Pay: $15.00–$18.00 per hour (based on education and experience)
The Learning Experience of Southside – Jacksonville, FL is seeking a flexible and enthusiastic Floater Teacher to join our amazing team! This is the perfect opportunity for an educator who loves variety and enjoys supporting classrooms across multiple age groups—from infants to preschoolers.
As a Floater Teacher, you’ll play an important role in maintaining classroom consistency, ensuring our children continue to learn, play, and thrive every day. You’ll support lead teachers, assist with lesson implementation, and help create a safe and happy learning environment where Happy Happens Here!
What You’ll Do:- Support teachers in classrooms ranging from Infant to Preschool as needed.
- Implement daily routines and assist with The Learning Experience’s L.E.A.P.® Curriculum.
- Foster positive relationships with children, families, and staff.
- Ensure classrooms remain safe, organized, and engaging.
- Step in to cover breaks, vacations, or absences to maintain quality care and consistency.
- Monday–Friday schedule – no nights or weekends.

- Minimum 6 months of childcare experience (1+ year preferred).
- CDA, Associate, or higher degree in Early Childhood Education preferred;
High school diploma/GED required. - CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain).
- Must meet Florida childcare licensing requirements.
