Math Teacher

Legacy Solutions Inc. is seeking a motivated and qualified Certified School Math Teacher for one of our partner schools located on the Northside of Jacksonville. The ideal candidate will have a strong mathematics background and be comfortable and experienced with Algebra I instruction.

The teacher will be responsible for creating an engaging, structured, and supportive classroom environment that helps students strengthen their mathematical skills, develop confidence, and prepare for continued academic success.

• Provide effective instruction in School Mathematics and Algebra I
• Develop and implement engaging lesson plans aligned with Florida academic standards
• Differentiate instruction to meet varying student learning needs
• Monitor and assess student progress and use data to guide instruction
• Maintain an organized, positive, and productive classroom environment
• Prepare students for applicable assessments and high school-level mathematics
• Communicate effectively with students, parents, administrators, and colleagues
• Participate in faculty meetings, professional development, and school activities
• Maintain accurate student records, grades, and required documentation

• Bachelor’s degree required
• Current Florida Teaching Certificate Or Statement Of Eligibility Preferred/required
• Certification appropriate for Mathematics
• Strong knowledge of Algebra I concepts and instruction
• Previous Middle School Teaching Experience Preferred
• Strong classroom management and communication skills
• Ability to engage and motivate diverse learners
• Commitment to student achievement and academic excellence
